Balsam Lake is the county seat of Polk County and about fifteen minutes from us in St. Croix Falls. We know the drive, we know the town, and we build websites for the businesses in it.

Service area
The county, and where Balsam Lake sits in it
We work with businesses out in the townships the same as the ones on main street. A shop on a county road has the same search problem, usually a worse one.
We cross into Minnesota too. Taylors Falls, Chisago City, and the towns along Highway 8 are a short drive from the shop, and a business on that side of the river has the same problem as one on this side.
Nothing here is more than about forty minutes from the shop. That means we can sit down with you in person, and most of this work goes better across a table than over a call.
Not sure whether you are in range? Ask. If you are just outside it and the work is a fit, we will still talk.

A lake town has two kinds of customers
Businesses here are working two audiences at once. There are the year-round locals who already know your name, and there are the cabin owners, second-home families, and summer visitors who are finding you cold, on a phone, usually for the first time. That second group has no word-of-mouth to go on. All they have is what turns up in search and what your site looks like when they land on it.
That’s why a site here has to do more work than in a purely local market. It has to rank when someone searches from the lake, and it has to look credible enough in the first three seconds that a stranger picks you over the next result. If it loads slowly, looks dated, or doesn’t make it obvious how to reach you, you lose a customer you never knew you had.
Built for the way business actually runs here
We work with the mix of businesses this town runs on: real estate, the trades, hospitality, and retail serving locals and seasonal visitors alike. We start with a site that gets you found and gets you chosen, then keep it running and grow it toward the systems that carry the load in the busy months, like booking, follow-up, and review requests.
Seasonal traffic means the phone rings unevenly.
We work with businesses across Polk County, including Balsam Lake, St. Croix Falls, Luck, Amery, and Osceola. If you’re running a business in this area, you’re in our backyard.
What it takes
Getting found here comes down to three things
The website
Loads quickly, says what you do before anyone has to scroll, and puts a call or a message one tap away.
Showing up in local search
A Google Business Profile filled out properly, a page for each town you cover, and the local signals that decide who ranks nearby.
The systems after that
Scheduling, reminders, and asking happy customers to leave a rating, all handled on their own instead of whenever you remember.
Most businesses have one of the three and not the other two. A site that looks fine with nothing running behind it, or good systems nobody can find. The three only pay off together.
Client work
Built and running for Halo Heating and Air
We built and maintain Halo Heating and Air’s site. It’s live, it’s ours, and we still handle the hosting and the edits.
Most of Halo’s work starts with a phone call, so the number is in the banner, the header, and the hero, and each one dials. Everything else on the site answers the questions that come before that call.

Next steps:
- Send us the problem with your current site. Or the fact that you do not have one.
- We build a working version and walk you through it.
- You approve it before it replaces anything.
